Hi Steven,The part of the URL that determines what to search for is _neManufdatarq=[blank], so you have to change this to match your specific search needs, such as _eqManufdatarq=Ford for example. Of course this assumes that the [Manuf] field in your database stores names like Ford, Chevy, Chrysler, etc.and that you're trying to retrieve all the Ford items from the database -- but you get the idea, right?Of course, you might also have to change the parameters in the search context on your results page, depending upon how the original webdna programmer wrote the code for your site, but let's take this one step at a time since it seems you're pretty new to this ...The first thing you really need to do -- before anything else -- is to read the WebCatalogManual.pdf file thoroughly, as many times as it takes until you begin to truly understand the concepts required for using webcatalog. Then open the HTML docs in your web browser, and make sure these docs are open and available to you *every time* you start programming. Get familiar with the Searching sections in the HTML docs first, since that's the part you need right now.Learning the webdna language enough to 'get you by' might only take you a few weeks if you have direct HTML and database coding experience. However, to become proficient it takes hundred or thousands of hours of hands-on experience. Do not get discouraged, just commit some time every single day to learning it and you'll be fine ... :)================================ Kenneth Grome, WebDNA Consultant 808-737-6499, http://webdna.net ================================------------------------------------------------------------- Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server.
