Because it did address the question (contrary to my first sentence). Smith Micro has made some positive strides to deal with tech support. However, Ken, you are in a unique position because you've been using the program for a long time and bring up issues that can often be answered only by the development staff. But the development staff needs to concentrate on development and cannot always follow this list closely. So, what are some possible solutions that help you (the WebDNA community), without overly taxing our development resources. Many issues are brought up and solved on the list without our intervention. What we need is a way to strain the questions so that only those that represent truely perplexing behavior, and do not represent design or how to issues, are brought to the attention on the development staff.I outlined one way that we are approaching this in my last message. But there are probably other ways as well. I have some ideas in mind, but I'll sleep on them to make sure they make sense, before discussing this further. In the mean time, please feel free to offer other suggestions. Trying hard to remember that we have limited resources (as does everyone else).
