This would give us the ability to use any two fields in a single database for our 'from' and 'to' fields -- simply by identifying those fields in the [convertchars] tag. Then, instead of having to use literally dozens of special database files, one for every unique character conversion we need to perform, we could store all our conversion values and tables in a single database file for greater efficiency. What's more, this feature would still allow the implementation of my previous suggestion to make the [convertchars] context more friendly by giving it the ability to perform a single-character or a single-word conversion on the fly -- WITHOUT USING A DATABASE -- like this:[convertchars fromValue=value1&toValue=value2]================================ Kenneth Grome, WebDNA Consultant 808-737-6499, http://webdna.net ================================------------------------------------------------------------- Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server.
