texte = Hello all, This conversation got me thinking about a spot in my templates that could really use a [removehtml] context. I include a header file in every page that has a variable titleText. TitleText is used twice: in the HTML , and again at the top of the page as a header
. It seemed like a good idea when I first wrote it, but I have since found that I occasionally need to use a
or two to format the text in the
. The result of having HTML in the
tag vary from browser. At best, the text
shows up in the window title, and at worst, everything after the first
shows up at the top of the page. So I was wondering if anyone had an idea about how to remove the
tags from just the
without real string replacement. I am using WebCat 3.0.6 as a plug-in and CGI to WebSTAR.Thanks,Brian:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: : Brian:Drum :::::::::::::::::::: mailto:bdrum@aecsoft.com : : Web:Designer :::::::::::::::::::: http://www.aecsoft.com : : AEC:Software;:Inc.:::::::::::::::: tel:703.450.1980 :::::: :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: On 2/17/00 4:02 PM, WebDNA Support wrote:> I would not use [removehtml] as it puts random text on your pages.
