When I run your version of my solution, I get the same incorrect results that you got. So I tried a couple of things...Adding a RWsdir=as in the search context makes no difference. Adding [committdabase db=prixeshuffle2.db] after the [replace] makes no difference. So I though it may be that the [search] is somehow affected when it is within the loop, so I pulled the [search .... /search] out of the loop and put it in it's own template and put a [tcpconnect ... /tcpconnect] within the loop. This way the [search] stands alone. This took a long time to run on a development box, but I could watch the 1000 individual hits to the second template. The results were still the same. The reason this is screwy is that I really really do have this working on a banner rotation scheme on a site that has ~20 banners and gets over 10,000 hits a day on pages where the banners live. Anytime I look at my admin page that lists the banners and the number of views, the number of views for each banner is always the same plus or minus one.I give up....___Joe____________________________________________________ Joseph D'Andrea JoeDan@West21.com WEST21.com Internet services for the 21st Century http://www.west21.com/ _________________________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------------- Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server.
