texte = I meant you will not be able to see the image when offline as it resides outside of the email on another server.Keep this in mind for people that say pay for their internet access by the minute and or pay for bandwidth (like my current situation ).Your email will probably cause their computer to start up a connection if not already connected, not a good thing if they are on the phone. And if you can't connect you can't 'read' the entire email and will get an error message from some piece of software - the email client or the ppp software.I personally wouldn't recommend going this route.Dale-- Dale Therio +49 69 263 19977 (o) Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Research +49 69 263 11379 (f) Jürgen-Ponto-Platz 1 +49 170 934 3610 (m) 60301 Frankfurt, Germany > From: John Butler > Reply-To: (WebCatalog Talk) > Date: Mon, 28 Feb 2000 10:45:58 > To: (WebCatalog Talk) > Subject: Re: insert graphic in email > > You're funny ;-) > in my case it is for an admin, so no problem > but just so I understand, you mean the graphic will not appear when offline, > or you > mean the WHOLE email? > (must be the former) > > -John > > Dale Therio wrote: > >> Keep in mind that if you do this the person will not be able to read the >> email offline. >> >> Maybe a short discussion with your customer on internet standards? >> > > > ------------------------------------------------------------- > Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server. > To end your Mail problems go to . > > This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to > the mailing list . > To unsubscribe, E-mail to: > To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to > > ------------------------------------------------------------- Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server.
