If I understand you correctly, you have a database with some of the items that may have an associated gift. You can easily add the [giftSKU] field to the existing database and fill it in with the appropriate value. Then at the point of adding an item to the shopping cart, put an [AddLineItem] to add another [SKU] (say [SKU]=GIFT), and store the giftSKU value in textA. Depending on how you add line items, this may be a loop on the second page that steps through and adds the main line item followed by any associated gift. Then alter your display page to list any line that has a [SKU]=GIFT with the line Include this FREE GIFT! or whatever. You will need an item in your database that has a [SKU] of GIFT (you can make the Price=0 and UnitShipCost=1.00 if you charge shipping on gifts). The point here being that you need a SKU to add something to the shopping cart, but this is so WebCat has something to lookup a [Price] on. Once it is there, you can display it anyway you like.HTHJohn Peacock ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: Re: SKU number.
