texte = I don't doubt that Amazon did spend some significant time to set up a distributed system of load-balanced servers, so that no matter which machine the user was attached to would be able to authenticate them from the shared database. The idea is simple enough, but the implementation may be very difficult indeed.I am not defending Amazon's actions; I also believe that there is likely cause to overturn the patent. But we should all be so lucky to be able to handle 1/1000 the hits that Amazon takes every day with as much speed as they manage.
