(the machine currently serves about 45 domains).I am trying to decide what platform to use for the future. I have heard great things about using Linux etc. I do not wish to use NT (of any flavor). One of my biggest requirements is the ability to manage the server remotely as I am in Germany and the servers are in the states. I am not aware of software that will let me do this on a Linux or Mac OSX machine.I have the possibility of getting a multiple processor RS6000 machine for dirt cheap so I could run Linux or AIX on it. Or I can buy a bigger faster Mac and put Mac OS or Mac OS X Server on it.I expect the primary domain to be doing in excess of 5 million pages per month by the end of the year, as long as the machine / software can keep up with it.What would you folks recommend for a hardware / software platform?Thanks-- Dale Therio +49 69 263 19977 office Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Research +49 69 263 11379 fax Jürgen-Ponto-Platz 1 +49 170 934 3610 mobile 60301 Frankfurt, Germany > From: Brian B.
