However, we do not deduct items from inventory at the moment a person places an item in their shopping cart, but when the person actually makes a purchase. Therefore, it is slightly possible that if 2 people have the last of an item in stock in their shopping carts and 1 person completes the purchase, the item will have gone out-of-stock while still in the other person's shopping cart.
