You can alter the ErrorMessages.db (located in the root WebCatalog directory) to print Town instead of City, if that really offends you. But you cannot casually rename a hard-coded fieldname in the Cart/Orderfile and expect the system to work.Maybe in WebCat V5.0, we will have user-defined cart fields...John Peacock ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: Re: Fields Author: (WebCatalog Talk) Date: 4/6/2000 7:26 PMHi,A simple question.on my invoice page, I want the field which was called [city] and is now [town]to be a required field. As the island we are on is very very small we dont have cities so I want to call this town If the client does not fill in this field I do not want the message to say'You need to fill in the [city] field, which is why we renamed this field [town]How can I set in the setheader a variable which is equal to the value entered in the [town] variable so this can be inserted into the order file and used on the thankyou and thankyou.txt sections.Any advice welcomeMany thanks Jagrove Services Limited Casa Raphaella Triq il-Kannzzata Balzan BZN 07 Malta Tel: +356 489700 492920 446229 Tel: +356 487992 499031 446234 Fax: +356 446227 492818 Mobile: 0947 5133 http://www.jagrove.com------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
