(and wouldn't that be dangerous?)If creating the search from a webpage, why not save the search into a database, then just email a [cart] number that associates to the search in the database and then have certain text that you can search on? e.g. search number = 23232323232Dale -- Dale Therio +49 69 263 19977 office Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Research +49 69 263 11379 fax Jürgen-Ponto-Platz 1 +49 170 934 3610 mobile 60301 Frankfurt, Germany > From: Aaron Lynch > Reply-To: (WebCatalog Talk) > Date: Thu, 20 Apr 2000 01:34:24 > To: (WebCatalog Talk) > Subject: reading a email > > I need to send a email to my web server, have the server open the file in a > SIMS folder, and parse out a search command and then send a email back to > the sender. > > Sort of a autoresponder, but it needs to perform a search in webcat not just > return a static page. > > Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. once I get the 'from' address > and the subject into applescript I can figure the rest out in webcat, the > problem is gonna be deciphering all of the headers and stuff (I think) > > TIA > > -Aaron > > > ------------------------------------------------------------- > This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to > the mailing list . > To unsubscribe, E-mail to: > To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to > > ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
