It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 30970
interpreted = N
texte = You cannot include commas in anything you want to ever treat as a number. 44,000.00 is a string, not a number, and when WebCat tries to convert that to a number, it uses the comma as the decimal seperator (since as many countries do that as use the period). Take the commas out of your data and you will be fine.John Peacock____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: [format] question Author: (WebCatalog Talk) Date: 4/27/2000 1:22 PMIf I have this in a template:[format 8.2f][price][/format]Where the value of [price] = 44,000.00 it shows up as: 44.00How do I fix this, or can't I?Thanks Charles ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
