(thank goddess).I will be responsible for an authentication front-end. It's simple enough in that it will be a small database of only 300 or so people and the fields will be minimal... username, password, e-mail address, name.I'm trying to come up with a scheme whereby the user will hit the home page and be presented with a username/password form. (The client doesn't want the usual browser authentication challenge dialog box). The form's action will verify them in the database and either challenge them again if the entered informatio is wrong, or pass them to the URL that is the entry point of the protected Flash content.FWIW... The Flash content appears in a window without any browser navigation and all navigation from the first page on is via Flash actions not the usual tags.I can put all the Flash content in a separate folder. The goal is to make any WebCat code on the Flash page minimal... Maybe just an include file or something and all that should happen there is that we somehow verify that the user logged in first. Any attempts to load a page from the protected area should result in the user being directed immediately back to the login page.Any thought on how doing this with Flash pages is different from normal pages, and what would your suggestion be for the absolute minimal code for the flash page? Thanks, ___Joe___ _________________________________________________ Joseph D'Andrea JoeDan@West21.com WEST21.com Internet services for the 21st Century http://www.west21.com/ _________________________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
