texte = Can anyone suggest a way to use a writefile context in a way that won't put the return character at the beginning of each new line in the resulting file? I've built a remote admin page for a site that is supposed to allow the user to change the message in a scrolling Java Applet.All works well except for that return character. Since the resulting file (scroller.txt) is used in an applet, the text isn't directly pulled into the page, therefore it never gets processed by WebCat, so I can't wrap a [convertchars] context around it to get rid of the return characters. The way the applet works, it reads the first character of each new line to give it a color, justification or some other function. When it sees that return character it freaks out and doesn't work.The scroller.txt file should look like this... . . #ffffff +Here is some scrolling text . +Here is some more scrolling text But instead, everytime scroller.txt is edited with the writefile, it resembles this...
