texte = I have this in a template- [Append db=some.db]handle=9599583681675&name=John Butler&pass=[URL][Encrypt seed=tree123]mySecret[/Encrypt][/URL]&anotherField=anotherValue...[/Append][Append db=some.db]handle=9599583681777&name=Jimi&pass=[URL][Encrypt seed=tree123]kissTheSky[/Encrypt][/URL]&anotherField=anotherValue...[/Append]Great so now I have those records in some.db. And each of their values for 'pass' = a funky string of chars: Ç*%25%00*Ûf*vsOM'/o ±Ï#cü+Î? (respectively) (the first char in that first one you can't see 'cause it's one of those gremlins I was askin about... but moving right along-)So I want to be sure I get [decrypt] to work properly, so I stick this in a test template-My pass in some.db decrypted =[Decrypt seed=tree123] Ç*%25%00*Ûf*vsOM'/o[/Decrypt]
Jimi's pass in some.db decrypted =[Decrypt seed=tree123]±Ï#cü+Î?[/Decrypt]And I get this back-My pass in some.db decrypted =mySecret (that's it! The document just stops there. Not even the closing shows! Nothing!)If I switch them around on the test template to-Jimi's pass in some.db decrypted =[Decrypt seed=tree123]±Ï#cü+Î?[/Decrypt] My pass in some.db decrypted =[Decrypt seed=tree123] Ç*%25%00*Ûf*vsOM'/o[/Decrypt]
and now for some more HTML...then I get-Jimi's pass in some.db decrypted =kissTheSky My pass in some.db decrypted =mySecret (and nothing below that !!)Obviously I changed my password from what it really is to mySecret for the purposes of this post,... I can't tell you the real pass (since it is in use in live places) but I really want to tell you so you can try it and see if I stumbled onto the one 8-char string which webcat chokes on when it decrypts to it. If I move that decrypt around the page it always does the same thing - nothing after the decrypted value ever shows up?!Am I mad, just a newbie, or is this a bug? Has anyone ever found a string which if you encrypt it, then decypt, then that's the last thing you ever see on the page?-John ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
