texte = no Linux webcat 3.08 apparently does not do that. In fact I had to add command=search& to the link (in addition to [searchstring]) to even get it to even work at all. Maybe the version you are using had an 'experiment' to see if they could remove the need to also explicitly add the command, but was aborted for the reasons you point out?
