I use the numeric raw HTML equivalents (for example, ", ø etc.) in the filemaker database and page html. All characters are subsequently shown correctly in the browser. However, when I need to send a message via the Emailer application, text in the message, whether writen as special characters, or in numeric form, and text from the database file, are not displayed correctly. Special characters entered into header tags give rise to no problems. Why the difference and how do I solve the problem of having special characters correctly parsed when sent via Emailer?Regards,Patrick------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
