texte = Hello,I have to update some information in each record of a live production database. There are a couple of different fields that need to be updated and I want to make sure I do things correctly as to not mess up my db.I am looking for the best way to crawl through the database to perform these updates. One update needed to be done is to change the date format from US type to formatted as a number. I do have an additional field in the database for this new information.Next is updating the path the an image which is associated with each individual record. This update involves moving the image and updating the record. I already so this when individual records are updated, I am trying to find the safest way to update all records ind of at once.So how do I do a search, with results for only 1 at a time, make the changes, then proceed to the next record that needs to be updated? Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
