texte = When I add emailsumm=T to a search, how does WebCatalog handle this exactly? The reason I ask is the following:I have a database, orders.db, which contains all of the info regarding eachorder placed. In the normal course of things, when I want to advertise asale, a run a search on this db, like so:[search db=orders.db&neemaildata=[blank]&emailsumm=T][founditems][sendmail...]Of course the emailsumm=T ensures that only one email is sent per customer. Now, suppose I run a sale. Customer A, whose name is already recorded inorders.db, orders again. So, now she has two records in orders.db. Two weekslater, I want to send out another email advertisement of the sale, but I*don't* want anyone who has already ordered during the sale to get an email. So, my search can change to:[search db=orders.db&neemaildata=[blank]&emailsumm=T][founditems][hideif [orderdate]>08/01/2001][sendmail...]But, I don't know which [email] in the db the fieldsumm chooses. Is it thefirst one it encounters? Or, does WebCat somehow write the summed emails toa buffer and then spit one out when it's done reading the whole db?If I know exactly how summing works, I can arrange my search to find thesale records first or last, so that the emails will be sent correctly...Will StarckNovaDermskin care sciencehttp://www.novaderm.com-techs@novaderm.com800-378-1740800-378-1740-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
