Just a few notes. I would highly recommend upgrading to WebCat4 it solved most of our problems right out of the box. That said we also rewrote the logging routine to compensate for 3.0's lack of volume capability, these updated routines can help and maybe the fastest/safest, but less complete fix.Additionally we found that any unix variety server is a much better banner server than MacOS classic. We also found linux to be the best price performer.I also run busy banner sites on dedicated servers so I don't take down sites on the same server if webcat crashes. I also run multiple servers and round-robin access to compensate for this under industrial strength situations. Rarely does one answer work for home, small office and Big Business.
