texte = Try the syntax [waitforfile file=ShoppingCarts/[cart]] - you need the file=...I'm not sure what you're expecting though... the [movefile] completes it's task immediately - before moving on to the next statement - so there should never be any waiting necessary. Assuming the WebMerchant/Problems/[cart] file existed when the code was called, ShoppingCarts/[cart] will exist before you get to the [waitforfile].What the [redirect] does is generate a command for the browser asking it to load a different page. Any WebDNA prior to a [redirect] will be executed first. Anything after a redirect will generally not be executed.- brianAt 3:32 PM 10/3/2001, Josh Lynn wrote: >I'm using the following code to re-create the shopping cart in the event of >a problem (mac g4 web* 4.x): > >[movefile from=WebMerchant/Problems/[cart]&to=ShoppingCarts/[cart]] >[deletefile file=WebMerchant/Problems/[cart]] >[deletefile file=WebMerchant/WebDelivery/[cart].tpl] >[deletefile file=WebMerchant/CompletedOrders/[cart]] > >[waitforfile ShoppingCarts/[cart]] >[redirect url=payment.tpl?cart=[cart]&command=showcart&db=../db/products.db] >[/waitforfile] > >the waitforfile doesn't seem to be working, is that becuase redirect happens >regardless of WaitForFile, or am I experiencing other problems? anyone have >an idea? > >thanks >-josh -- <= Brian C.
