texte = This is unusual in that the engine is NOT supposed to write out the cached contents of a database back to disk (during a flushdatabases or closedatabase) UNLESS the database has been modified by an Append, Replace, or Delete action. I'm looking at the engine code right now and it is pretty clear that that is how it should work. I'll run some tests though.
