texte = I'm being driven crazy by trying to get the encypt and decrypt DNA towork properly. I can get it to work except where the end user is usingthe AOL or CompuServe browsers. In this case, the decrypt eitherdoesn't work or nothing is displayed.I am trying to protect credit card n=umbers that are stored in aWebMerchant Orders database. We process cards manually and only useWebMerchant to display and manage the orders. On the store site, I putthe credit card number into one of the cart headers. Since I can't seemto encrypt and decrypt the card number, I figured I could perform somesort of mathmatical operation on the card number when setting it into aheader and do the reverse when displaying the card number inWebMerchant. At least, if someone snags the orders database off myserver, the card number won't be usable. Not a perfect solution, butthe best I can do now.The problem is that when I perform some [math] on the card number, theresult is in scientific notation and the card number doesn't survive thereverse math that I perform in WebMerchant to view it.Any help would be appreciated.Richard Kirsner-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
