Database alias & long filename question

texte = I created a system to analyze my EIMS logs.The problem is the log file name generated by EIMS is to longInternet Mail Server error logso I can't add the .hdr extensionI could have sworn in the past I've made aliases and they worked but now the aliases seem to resolve to the original name so even if I create.errorlog.db as an alias to Internet Mail Server error log and errorlog.hdrWebCatalog is still looking for Internet Mail Server error log.db and Internet Mail Server error log.hdr ..... too long.Sure..
