Can anyone think of a possible solution? For every record that is written to this file, also write to a secondfile that changes every day. That way, you always have today's complete database as well as a backup of only today's data. You caneven restore yesterday's complete database and append today's recordsto recover. However, this is a bandaid solution. If your server is crashing dueto load, you need to investigate other options. If you are running under MacOS, it may be that you need to move to OS/X or Linux to getbetter performance. It may be that you simply have a bad memory chip.It may be that you have 1 page of bad WebDNA that is causing the server to die.HTHJohn-- John PeacockDirector of Information Research and TechnologyRowman & Littlefield Publishing Group4720 Boston WayLanham, MD 20706301-459-3366 x.5010fax 301-429-5747-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
