texte = Mac os9,webstar,webcat 4.01I am looking for a way to sort found items. I have a search result page that uses an imbedded search:[search db=serials.db&[formvariables name=_&exact=F][getchars start=2][name][/getchars]=[url][value][/url]&[/formvariables]startat=[starta t]&[sortfield]sort=1&[sortfield]sdir=[sortdirection]&max=[show]]which is fairly simple. The only deviation is that the sort field and sdir=as can be changed.my problem comes when I have 6 found items and I used max=5. my first page shows 5 items 1,2,3,4,5 and I get a hyperlink to 6.above the column of results I have 2 hyperlinkswhich searches sorts decending. Shows 1,2,3,4,5which searches sorts ascending. Shows 6,5,4,3,2 not exactly what i wanted.I would like to sdir into the result of the original found items which would give me 5,4,3,2,1. Is there a way to position=start, position=end in this type of search so i can re-sort the first 5 found. Any help would be appreciated.------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
