Tool tools I like. 1) Webmin - helps with Apache and other linux chores. http://www.webmin.com/ It will also install on osX 10.1 you must tell webmin that you have a osx server 1.3 I only use it for Apache on osX. I'm not sure it would manage some of the other BSD stuff with Apples tweeks. Also, if you run osX to manage remote Linux / Unix / osX server look at rbrowser. http://www.rbrowser.com/DownLoad.html Very cool, uses SSH protocol, and you can use BBedit to edit your remote config files, quick tweek a .tmpl fileetc. what can I say, I like BBedit better than vi :-) >With my servers remotely located, and very bad experiences >trying to upgrade before, I don't trust trying to upgrade to 4.0 >on a co-located server. > >However, my new servers will be Linux based, and I will have my >hands on them for about 2 months before bringing them online and >I will have 4.x installed on them. > >I have a number of things I am working on using 4.x :) > >Thanks again > >Dale > >On Tue, 30 Oct 2001 12:34:56 -0600 > Rob Marquardt wrote: >> on 10/30/01 12:14 pm, Dale Therio at stuff@colony.net so >> noted... >> >> > Thanks, I have WC 3.x currently on my own server but use >> 4.x at >> > work.
