texte = Hello,I can't figure this search out.I am using a series of showifs to determine a particular value. this works fine. Following this, I do a search based on 2 criteria (the first value is not one of them). I can get the record needed just fine based on my search. However, my problem is that the field from the record found that I need to display is the value I determined using the showifs. I can't seem to get the field to display, only the value which equals the name of the field I want.I need WC to interpret the value to be the field name.[search db=databases/zodiac.db&eqZodiacDateDatarq=[math]{[date]}[/math]&eqFreqDaterq=1] [math show=f]found=[numfound][/math] [showif [found]=1] [founditems] [convertchars][sign][/convertchars] [/founditems] [/showif] [/search]I detemine the needed value for [sign] using the showifs (to find out what todays's zodiac sign is). The database has fields for date, freq, and the horoscopes for each sign for this day.So for today I determine that if you were born today your sign is scorpio, I search the database to find today's set of horoscopes and find that record. I now need to display only the field for scorpio.I can't do a lookup as I need to require 2 fields, the date and freq as I have daily, weekly and monthly horoscopes in this database. So, any idea on how to get a text value to be interpreted as a field name?ThanksDale------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
