texte = I have a template that takes info in our DB and generatestext files with QuarkXPress tags in them, which are thenimported into a Quark file for layout. The preformattingwith WC saves a considerable amount of time...so, we just finally moved from 3.x to 4.x, and an oddproblem is occurring. when I import a .txt file thatwas generated on the new server, Quark totally ignoresall line breaks, so I just get one big paragraph. If youopen the file, though, the line breaks are still there.I even went so far as to test by cutting and pastingthe info into a new document, and _that_ imports justfine.so, the question is--what would WC 4 be doing differentlyin the way it saves a file than WC 3 did, that might causeQXP to ignore line breaks when it inputs the file...a.t.tribbywickham & associates, inc-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
