5.0 feature request: New Search Syntax
This WebDNA talk-list message is from 2001
It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 40204
interpreted = N
texte = I would like to see the search syntax changed so that the[founditems][/founditems] DOES NOT need to be nested inside the[search][/search].We could have something like:[search db=database.db&neSKUdatarq=[blank]&query=MyQuery]No closing tag required.Founditems would then look like this:[founditems query=MyQuery]SKU: [SKU]
[/founditems]Why do this you may ask?? Well, for one think it would allow us to buildMUCH more modular code.In this way we could develop a FuseBox methodology much for WebCatalog,which as it is would not be possible.Check it out: http://www.fusebox.org - an excellent programming paradigm.ThanksCharles-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
