It lists the different taxing jurisdictions and the sales tax amount. For NYS, it's broken down to the county level with a couple of exceptions for the handful of cities that have their own tax rate. (NYC, White Plains, etc.).Where we are located in New Jersey, ZIP code would only be part of the puzzle. As Dale mentioned, there are places right here in our own ZIP code, for example, where the tax rate is different on one side of the street vs. the other side of the street -- both sides of the street being in the same ZIP code.I know that you probably have to charge the sales tax for NY state residents but are you sure you have to charge the tax at the point of delivery rather then the point of sale? If just the point of sale will suffice, then you only have one rate to deal with.Having said that, do a google search on sales tax rates and you'll see links to a few places that might help.--joe-- ____________________________________________________________ Joseph D'Andrea ~ http://www.west21.com/ ~ JoeDan@West21.com WEST21.com Internet services for the 21st Century webhosting ~ co-location ~ wireless access WebCat and MGI database programming ____________________________________________________________------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
