How long does a cart last?

texte = Hi guys, been a while since my last post.I am writing some code to remember a users items that were added to a cart from visit to visit.I use a cookie to store the cart number and then when they come back to the site I re-instate the cart from the shopping carts directory and continue to use it.My problem is that after about 6-10 hours, the cart becomes unavailable.The thing is that the webcatalog admin has a setting for how often to sweep the shopping carts directory and it is set to 24 hours. The other thing is that the cart hasnıt been removed from the directory it is still there and I can rip it down using FTP and see its contents.
