[OT] Hacked IIS/FTP

numero = 41248

texte = Off topic but this is just frustrating the heck out of me...I have an NT server that was hacked by the infamous anonymous FTP pranksters. The hackers created a bunch of directories with illegal or non-visible characters in them. Because of this, the file system cannot find the directories or files when I try to delete them. I would prefer not to reformat the drive. I have installed XP on another drive and, when booted from it, can browse the hackers' directories but cannot copy or delete them or the files in them. Command prompt seems to have the same problem. How do I rename these directories? How can I copy the files in them to another drive? How can I delete these directories? Thanks, Mike ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
