I can set up a CVS repository where the files can be checked into. Also, I can set up a list for discussions for this (until a version is ready to go and we can use that for further discussion). As mentioned by one poster, and as mentioned in my original post, one of the first things to discuss is the structure of the forum.I do think trying to design it so it is extensible is a key thing, and as message forums tend to get large, and while memory isn't that expensive, many servers are limited to 2 (Xserver for one) - 4 gig of ram, the ability to use a SQL back end I think would be important. Even if that is a later feature, to design the code so that the database searches are self contained, like in include files, which would make it easier to drop in a new set of includes which would talk SQL instead is important.I will set up the repository and the list and then those that wish write access can just email me.There are many free CVS clients on Mac, Linux and Windows (and probably even Amiga) http://www.cvshome.org Another nice IDE with built in CVS client is NetBeans - http://www.netbeans.orgDaleOn Thursday, August 1, 2002, at 11:01 PM, Palle B.
