I just need to determine what is actually happening on the other side of that proxy and I don't know how to do it less any help from the UA and Javascript. I guess I could try replacing all content with a CLICK HERE TO SEE THE BEATLES type of thing and see if the browser decides to send a referrer along with the request. That would give me a URL to visit that would show me what people on the other side of the proxy are seeing. Or would it? It could be a service for a private network.Hmmm...Anyone have a boiler plate copyright/cease and desist type of form they could pass my way?MikeOn Tuesday, August 20, 2002, at 05:08 PM, Michael Davis wrote:> I like these better: > http://review.mondominishows.com/minibytes/shirley.html > http://review.mondominishows.com/god_and_devil/bill.html > http://review.mondominishows.com/trailer_court/play_pilot.html > > Okay, seriously, I don't understand why someone would proxy a > dynamically generated product page and strip the javascript and > add to cart button out of it. What I need to determine is what the end user is seeing. If the content is being modified then I'm sure there is a copyright issue that I need to address with them.
