numero = 42763
interpreted = N
texte = www.lostandfound.comThe site is multilingual (English, German, French, Spanish). I designed the site and made it multilingual template, then depending on which one of the domains a users accesses, (there are over 500) I do a lookup to find the applicable country and language. Finally, using the language variable, I display every graphic and piece of text on the site dynamically. All text is editable in every language using a content management system. The system stores the text in a database, but also writes out an include file for every entry. I found that by using file includes (which get cached), it keeps the site running much more quickly than hitting the database constantly. The site currently has over 33000 ads.Brian Boegershausen-----Original Message----- From: WebCatalog Talk [mailto:WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com]On Behalf Of Donovan Sent: Wednesday, August 21, 2002 1:48 PM To: WebCatalog Talk Subject: [OT] Who's got a cool link Hey, it's a lil quiet so I thought I'd ask if anyone has a link to a WebDNA site that they think is pretty off the wall or interesting. Ya know, things like the pub, Micheal's(I think) cookie cutter site, Flash integration... etc.There has got to be some good or unusuall ones out there.??Donovan -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------<><> Donovan Brooke <><>->ï ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
