In order to use the WebCatalog engine I thought it was necessary for the secure area of the site to be under the main domain where the engine is installed. I tried setting up our domain with SSL but it was not possible to access the site without using https://, it is for this reason I wanted to try and set up the sub domain and map it to a folder within the main domain. Here is the VirtualHost Record for secure.ourdomain.com, I tried mapping it to a folder that I called secure in ourdomain.com:- ServerName secure.ourdomain.com ServerAdmin admin@secure.ourdomain.com ServerAlias DocumentRoot /home/domain/domain1/web/secure# I changed the above line from /home/domain/domain3/web # as this is where the main domain web folder is# The lines below are where I started to get lost ErrorLog |/usr/ins/intel/bin/webspy /home/domain/domain3/logs/error_log TransferLog |/usr/ins/intel/bin/webspy /home/domain/domain3/logs/access_log RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^IP Number(:80)?$ RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^secure.ourdomain.com(:80)?$ RewriteRule ^/(.*) http://secure.ourdomain.com/$1 [L,R] RewriteOptions inherit# Do I need to change the following lines? # And if so...
