It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 43327
interpreted = N
texte = Suggestion.write a template that will rotate the email log file daily or weekly (depending on your load)move the file to a new folder which contains a .hdr file for the format of the email log file (by the same name as your rotated log file)load the 'database'delete all records that have a status code of 0 (or delete all that have message sent successfully)then the tough part... the final field in the db contains the filename of the bad email. these emails are in the EMailProblems folder you need to read in the file and parse the To: and From: lines. And then check the email addresses. I would then possibly write this info out a file - OR have 3 additional fields in your .hdr file to write these values back to the database (3rd field is for the subject which may help you identify which site the email came from).When all files have been processed, send yourself an email with the bad email addresses and subject. On my main site, I am primarily concerned with the To: address as those would be the ones in my databases. If the person filling out the form can' t even remember their own email address.....and based on the subject (all emails generated on my site have a hard coded subject) so I could go one step further and search my database on the email field to get the detailed info for this user.Ok, there is your outline of how I would do it. As to me doing it, I most likely will - in a couple of months. I have too much to do right now.Hope this helps.Dalep.s. if you write it like this, I wouldn't mind getting a copy of it :)On Thursday, September 12, 2002, at 07:28 PM, Gyuri wrote:> Hi All, > > Is there any easy way to check automatically if a mail sent with WebDNA > bounces?
