Go through a couple of forms and then send someone an eCard. Someone sent one to someone, they apparently didn't recognize the sender, reported it to spamcop, and I was stuck with lame-O responses from spamcop about how they determine what is spam and what isn't and that they determined that the eCard was and that was the end of any argument that they were willing to hear from me. Arrogant bastards. There's nothing like evil do-gooders on a mission.Though I use several RBL lists on my mail server, and personally use the junk mail filters in OS X Mail.app, I still think the delete button is the best defense against spam. Well, the best defense is to NOT click on the links and make it absolutely fruitless to advertise that way, but that will probably never happen. Too many drones out there thinking everything they read in an email is true.MikeOn Monday, October 14, 2002, at 07:03 PM, Andrew Simpson wrote:> On another note - I really hate spam and have found a really good > service > for fighting it. > > spamcop.net > > You sign up and log in then post the source of the message into a > little box > and process it.
