texte = Thanks Michael, Now I need to figure out why I can view ü in your example and not mine... I am [url]ing the value when [append]ing to my database. I'm viewing in just the same way you have described.In your example I see the correct ü and in mine it turns into a ?.Ken, I don't think it is a matter of font since I'm creating the character with the same font as I'm trying to view it with. Also, I can see Michael's example.Any ideas?
