It gets about 30 000-50 000 page visits a day (when it's up, that is). The pages aren't too big, but they're rather heavy on WebDNA. There are two other sites hosted on the same server, but they can safely be ignored. They're both very small sites with no dynamic content and with a visitor every other day or so on average.Does this setup look like trouble? The server drops out once a day on average - during peak hours and when I do big and/or repated updates through ftp. First it slows down to a crawl, then it slows down even further so that it's effectively down. Then it usually starts picking up speed again and is back to normal after half an hour or so. Sometimes it freezes completely. What do you think? Is there a problem with the server, or is it simply that I can't expect it to handle such a heavy workload?Frank Nordberghttp://www.musicaviva.com-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
