The Powerbooks are cool indeed but when I think of a company with limited resources, fighting to stay alive in a competative market I wonder if the resources were spent right. What I *do* like a lot is the new Airport Extreme. Now we have acceptable wireless LAN transfer rates... as well as the ability to bridge more than one airport together for a seamless connection over a wide field. (literally, if you are a farmer and want to look at dirty pictures on your tractor while harvesting a crop)... uh anyway, Another cool feature of Airport Extreme was a USB port right on the unit. Now we can share a USB printer over the wireless network... REALLY COOL!. I will definately be upgrading at that spot.no, I think more support for 3rd party developers would have been cool. Also, I think Apple could do a better job at teaching there new user base about their new OS that was planted on them. All these iapps are getting imundain. I don't mind the additions to iPhoto, iMovie etc but the things I use the Mac for never really touch this level of, well, iBasiciGuess. With moving to a *nix based platform one would think they would promote the new acquired world of Software from that environment. The promotions seems toyish yet I know the capabilities go beyond it. Speaking of toyish, what about support for the gaming community? What about an Apple projector that is cheap? huh, huh? yea, I said an apple projector! However, I might be able to do some cool presentation on keynote and manage to get a good job with it. ;^)My .02˘DonovanNitai @ ComputerOil wrote:> Ups, I think we were all wrong about that the Powerbooks will not be > changed.
