texte = got this from the talk list archive Nov 02.tried it. but it did not work.any suggestions?--------------------------------------------------------------------If your running osx server with webstar make sure that the built in mailserver is not running. (use server settings to stop mail server.) in webstargo to relaying. First line in SMTP relaying should readAllow Relaying from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to * the second line shouldprobably stay deny relaying * *. So others can't use your machine as a relaybecause they will. The xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx above being the IP address of the machine runningWebCatalog, I use 111.111.111.* to allow all machines on my subnet to relay. The * means all. Then in allow/deny smtp webstar settings make the first line allow andonce again the IP address of the machine running WebCatalog. In the WebCatalog administration Email Setup settings you can add the Ipaddress of the machine running webstar mail or its domain name.--------------------------------------------------------------------Thanks again,David.-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
