As a recommendation, you should stop WebSTAR before install WebDNA. Open the WebDNA-WebSTAR-x.xxxx folder and double-click the WebDNA WebSTAR.pkg file. This will launch the Apple Installer to finish installation process. The WebCatalog application will start up automatically after the installation process has finished. For people who use the WebCatalog package to update to a new version of WebCatalog application, the package will reinstall the WebCatalog distribution into your system. It will rebuild WebCatalog & WebCatalogEngine folders in your system, but it will not overwrite the following database files that are customized for your old setup: WebCatalogEngine/WebCatalog Prefs WebCatalogEngine/Users.db WebCatalogEngine/Triggers.db WebCatalogEngine/Globals/WebMerchant/Stores.db The package update does not change any of your configuration files which were changed in previous installation. As a recommendation for any software installation, it is always best to backup your files before performing any upgrades. Thanks,Salvatore D'Anna Sales Engineer Smith Micro Software (949)360-8587-----Original Message----- From: Clint Davis [mailto:cdavis@grayloon.com] Sent: Wednesday, February 19, 2003 7:27 AM To: WebDNA Talk Subject: 4.5.1 Upgrade... 1.
