I need access to more than one description field.Marc,You have received a lot good advice, but in bits and pieces. Let me try to synthesize things. It looks like your new to WebCatalog, so I'll spell out some steps. I apologize if some of them are obvious.First you have to add the field(s) to the database admin/products.db. To do this you have to add the field name(s) to the file admin/products.hdr. This is the common format for WebCat databases. The data is in xxx.db and WebCat knows to look the field titles in xxx.hdr. Open the file in any text editor, put your cursor at the end of the last field title, hit the tab button (it's tab delimited file) and type in the name(s) of the new field(s). Then you have to flush the databases using the Webcatalog Administration tools. Or you can write a little file to do this.Next you want the fields to appear in the product detail pages under Add or Edit View in Store Administration. You need to put them in admin/products.inc. This the file that displays in the product edit screen. Place and format your new fields wherever you want them for easy data entry. You can also rearrange or format the other fields. I made the Long_Description field larger. The original is too small to see all of the description. Finally, if you want them to appear in your store, you'll need to add them to the product template(s) that you are displaying; e.g. brief.inc or full.inc.I hope this helps more than confuses. >Just to put my two cents in as well > >The standard storebuilder templates only have the Title and Description >enabled in the admin section.
