texte = I am in the midst of setting up a new server, and I would very much like to store my web site files on a Network Attached Storage device (networked hard-drive). I find that although WebDNA 5.0 is correctly handed the filename by the web server, WebDNA is not able to open the template. I suspect this is because of the forward slash '/' vs backslash '\' issue with filepaths under NT/2k. There are system calls to translate the unix-style filename to NT-style filename prior to access, so this should not be a difficult task.I am aware of both the security concerns and the necessity to run the dbserver.exe service under a specially designed domain account in order to access the files properly. I can discuss this topic in more detail if/when an engineer is assigned to the project.John-- John PeacockDirector of Information Research and TechnologyRowman & Littlefield Publishing Group4501 Forbes BoulevardSuite HLanham, MD 20706301-459-3366 x.5010fax 301-429-5748-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
