One database was suddenly 100% blank. Others had been truncated. I noticed that one of the truncated databases at the time had been cloned 300+ times. This was a 5Mb database, so it was not only worrisome, but it was gobbling up disk space fast. I don't know if or how the data loss and this cloning was related, but it was certainly coincidental. I, too, thought I had the latest build running. I downloaded the latest 4.5.1 again to be sure and re-installed. I thought my troubles were behind me, but you're bringing this up again made me curious so I looked at my databases. Guess what, I have a database that has cloned itself 87 times on Saturday, 154 on Sunday and 277 times today. The cloned database does not show up as multiple databases in the list of [ListDatabases], so I hope that it is not gobbling up RAM like it is drive space. You have to look at your database directory to notice it. I suggest anyone running 4.5.1 on OS9 do a file search on their hard drive for files that contain the string -oRiGiNal-. It will be interesting to know if this is happening more than we are aware of.MikeOn Monday, April 7, 2003, at 09:09 AM, Clint Davis wrote:> Mike, > > Did an upgrade to the latest 4.5.1 installer fix this issue??? > > I thought I had the latest installer, but one of my DB's is doing the > same > thing. > > WebDNA 4.5.1 | MacOS 9.2.2 > > > On 2/15/03 7:37 PM, Michael Davis wrote: > >> One of my databases suddenly duplicated itself and I can't figure out >> how.
