But it sorts as ASCII text, not as a number (see above). NOTE: for all of those wanting to create the cart file at the same time as cart value, just store something in the cart on every page (one of the headers). You can use this to track what page the user visited last, for example. It is a performance hit, because cart's write to disk immediately if you store something.
