texte = what you need to do... well in my opinion anyway - is this. Take this page for example... http://www.mecumauction.com/searchresults.html?CART=1063751192297389&LSORT=2&SEARCH_DATA=Ford This is generated dynamically after doing a search by selecting only the make of car... in this case, ford. This page would be absolute dynamite if google could see if but it can't cause there are no links to it. What you should do is make a "site map" of all your Car Make search results pages. This can be done by either writing them out statically and linking to them eg /ford.html or just linking to this page (above) and passing the the name of the brand to search. Writing them out statically is quite easy because you already have the code. in fact you could probably just wrap the searchresults.html page in a [writefile file=/carmakes/[SEARCH_DATA].html][/writefile] context and it would do all the work for you. Once you have your "site map" which is just a fancy word for a page full of static links to pages within your website, submit the address of the sitemap to google. And that should get the robot trawling your site like nothing else. :) There is NO TRICK to search engines. if your site is user friendly it will also be search engine friendly. you have the content - thats the hard part taken care of. hth ----- Original Message ----- From: "Christian F. Taking a sheet from the StoreBuilder playbook, we established a function where we create a series of static pages that link to one-another and have a refresh statement and linked the first page of these static pages to the home page. We still cannot get the individual car pages to show up within a google search. As an example the first static page is for "Mecum Auction - MN0603-9312 1964 Ford T-Bird" and a Google search on "1964 Ford T-Bird Mecum" will yield nothing, as will searching for the GUID "MN0603-9312". Since our web logs show that 75%+ of searches that result in visitors coming to the web site are from Google, we think it might be a good idea for us to get this resolved. We also run about 3 dozen other sites wherein discovering the "Google trick" would really be a benefit. We're just stumped after a lot of tests and changes. Christian F.
